22 May Hospitals fare well in recent scorecard
Broward and Palm Beach county hospitals, like those across the rest of the nation, have received their spring report cards as scored by a nonprofit organization that advocates for safer health-care delivery.
Nineteen local hospitals earned A grades, including Coral Springs Medical Center, Delray Medical Center, JFK Medical Center of Atlantis, Good Samaritan Medical Center of West Palm Beach, Memorial Hospital Miramar, Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines and Holy Cross ofFort Lauderdale.
Broward General Medical Center earned its second-consecutive B, and Memorial Regional Hospital of Hollywood maintained its A, according to Leapfrog.
