29 Sep UCF student magazine bridges health and the arts
The University of Central Florida sent out this article this week, detailing a new student project at the College of Medicine that involves the arts. I found it interesting and wanted to share it. Here’s the UCF report:
In their latest effort to show the link between the arts and medicine, UCF College of Medicine students are beginning “The Sc¿ipt,” an art literary magazine that will include poetry, op-ed letters, photography, non-fiction, reflections, paintings and drawings.
“The Sc¿ipt” is the brainchild of the college’s Arts in Medicine (AIM) organization, a student-run group committed to uniting the arts and sciences throughout Central Florida and healthcare. AIM has sponsored several artistic events and performances at the medical school, including last year’s first “Music Under the Stars” holiday concert in the Lewis Auditorium.
