One 97-year-old man receiving care at Annie and Harry Thomassen’s Nokomis home married his 86-year-old sweetheart at a ceremony by the lake in their backyard, Champagne included.

And when their daughter Erin went to the high school prom, her date posed for photos with their two resident elders.
