There will come a time — not too far in the future — when a mother will be able to test her own child for strep throat in the middle of the night instead of running to an urgent care clinic.
This is just one of the advances shared with health care professionals at the Florida Blue Foundation’s Sapphire Awards and Symposium held Wednesday at the Renaissance World Golf Village Resort in St. Augustine. Innovative developments on the horizon and trends in health care were the focus of the two-day convention which also honors excellence and innovation in the non-profit sector.
