At Vintex, we understand the challenges that today’s seniors and family caregivers face and, most importantly, understand how fundamental it is for you or your loved one to receive care in the comfort of your own home. One of the greatest needs for an aging population is in-home, long-term care. Older adults that need assistance with daily activities due to chronic illness or disability require specific care that Vintex can provide. Caregivers providing these senior home care services are licensed, insured and vary from home health aides to companions to registered nurses.
Because of aging, illness, or disability, some of the most independent-minded people in our society sometimes find it challenging to cope with the many basic activities of daily living. That’s why caregivers are trained to care for clients that suffer from a variety of conditions, such as diabetes, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, etc.
Initial Assessment
Prior to the start of services, a Vintex Quality Care registered nurse will perform an in-home care assessment. Understanding the full scope of each of our clients’ care needs is a vital part of developing care plans that will meet their unique needs. During the assessment, our RN will gather information about your home care needs, and the safety of your home environment. Each home care client is assessed physically and cognitively, and an overall history is obtained from the client, relative, guardian, or responsible party. Each piece of information helps us formulate the best care plan for you.
